Mentoring & Internships in Oceanside

Unite North County Coastal has partnered with Oceanside Unified School District, and Hope Leadership Academy in Oceanside to provide mentoring for at risk youth.  Mentoring is currently focused at Laurel Elementary, for students from third through 6th grade.

Volunteer in Carlsbad

Unite North County Coastal has partnered with technology companies including ViaSat, and Jefferson Elementary in Carlsbad to provide a makers space mentoring program.  MakerSpace is a hands on based learning environment.  We are working together to launch the mentoring partnership soon!

Volunteer in Vista

Unite North County Coastal is developing partnerships to provide mentoring, after school tutoring, and apprenticeship opportunities in Vista School District.

T.H.E. Leadership Academy opened in 2003 its mission is to educate all students to become eager, compassionate lifelong learners and creative problem solvers. Leadership Academy accomplishes this by providing an engaging, safe learning environment with high expectations and accountability.  Join us on Tuesdays for Reading & Tutoring in Vista!

Tutor in Encinitas

Unite North County Coastal is developing partnerships to provide mentoring, after school tutoring, and apprenticeship opportunities in Encinitas School District

Casa de Amistad provides tutoring, educational support, and character development to underserved children, teens, and their families in the coastal North County San Diego area.  Tutors need to commit to at least one tutoring session once a week on either Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday and can choose the age of student(s) they’d prefer to work with.
